MANILA — Filipinos can expect another day of isolated rain showers and thunderstorms as weather conditions remain influenced by the easterlies and localized convective activity, PAGASA said Friday.
The weather bureau said the easterlies will continue to affect the Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Aurora, and Quezon, bringing cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
Across the rest of the country, localized thunderstorms are likely to develop, producing isolated downpours throughout the day.
PAGASA advised the public to stay vigilant, noting that stronger thunderstorms could trigger flash floods and landslides in vulnerable communities.
Marine conditions will remain generally manageable, with moderate winds and seas over the western section of Southern Luzon and light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters elsewhere in the country.
