MALOLOS, Bulacan — A total of 159 families in this city were awarded certificates of lot assignment by the Malolos City Government under its free housing program for qualified beneficiaries without land or permanent homes.
The distribution was held on April 10, 2026, at the Tuklas Resettlement Site in Purok 5, Barangay Mabolo, led by Mayor Christian Natividad.
The awarding followed the mayor’s signing of the certificates granted to beneficiaries of the city’s housing initiative, which aims to provide secure residential spaces to underprivileged families.
Each housing lot measures 35 square meters and is strictly intended for residential use. Under the guidelines set by the Local Housing Board of Malolos, the awarded properties cannot be sold, leased, or transferred without prior approval from the board.
Mayor Natividad urged recipients to value and properly maintain their homes, emphasizing that the units were awarded based on their compliance with the program’s requirements.
Meanwhile, 82 additional beneficiaries are in the process of completing their documents and are expected to receive their certificates soon.
Once completed, the program is set to benefit a total of 241 families in Malolos City.
