MANILA – The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said most areas in the country will experience fair weather on Tuesday.
Despite the generally clear conditions, isolated rain showers and thunderstorms may still occur due to localized weather activity.
Across the archipelago, winds are forecast to remain light to moderate, while sea conditions will range from slight to moderate.
The weather bureau said the ridge of a high-pressure area and the easterlies will continue to influence the country’s weather during the Holy Week period.
PAGASA also reminded the public to take precautions against heat exposure by avoiding prolonged outdoor activities from late morning to afternoon, particularly between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Residents are advised to drink plenty of water, limit alcohol and caffeine intake, wear light-colored clothing, use sun protection, and rest in shaded areas to avoid heat-related illnesses.
The agency added that there are currently no monitored low-pressure areas that could develop into a tropical cyclone.
