ANTIPOLO CITY — Two armed men riding a motorcycle robbed a convenience store late Monday night in Barangay Dela Paz, making off with more than PHP100,000 in cash.
The robbery took place at around 10:58 p.m. at a convenience store along NHA Avenue, according to initial police reports.
Authorities said the suspects, both wearing yellow jackets and carrying firearms, arrived at the establishment on a Honda Click motorcycle. Upon entering the store, they allegedly threatened the employees—identified as John and Lailane—and announced a holdup.
The suspects then ordered the workers to move to the storage area while forcing one of them to open the store’s vault at gunpoint.
Police said the robbers fled with approximately PHP105,851, believed to be the store’s earnings for the day.
Investigators are currently examining closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage to determine the suspects’ identities and trace their escape route.
Authorities are also appealing to the public to provide any information that could help in identifying and locating the suspects as the investigation continues. /iam
