MANILA — Two suspects, Moises Alfero, 26, and Marlon Kabigting, 37, were arrested in Tondo, Manila, for allegedly robbing a 25-year-old vendor, Patricia Lopez, at knifepoint along Mel Lopez Blvd. on April 7, 2026, around 3:00 A.M.
Lopez was driving her motorcycle when the suspects, armed with knives, appeared and demanded her belongings. She sought help from Don Bosco PCP, leading to the suspects’ arrest. Authorities recovered her stolen items and brought the suspects to Gat Andres Bonifacio Medical Center for examination.
The suspects are facing charges of Robbery Hold-up (Art. 293) and are being held at the Raxabago Police Station PS1. The case is being prepared for inquest proceedings at the Manila Prosecutor’s Office.
The arrest highlights the importance of community cooperation in fighting crime. Authorities urge citizens to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity to help keep neighborhoods safe.
