NAIA, Pasay City — Maximizing its expansive floor area and elevating service, Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA)’s Terminal 3 has started upgrading its dining lineup with new global and Filipino brands as part of the New NAIA Infra Corporation (NNIC)’s strategy to convert under-utilized spaces into passenger-focused amenities and thus enhance convenience and the overall airport experience.
NNIC chief-operating-officer Jong Hoon ‘John’ Kim announced that they are set to further enhance passenger experience at Terminal 3 with the addition of several global and homegrown dining brands as part of its ongoing efforts to modernize facilities and maximize terminal space for incoming and outgoing travelers.
According to the Incheon International Airport veteran, the expanded food and beverage offerings aim to serve the growing number of passengers, airport visitors, and well-wishers accompanying departing and arriving travelers.
“We are building on the various restaurant and retail concepts introduced to us since we assumed airport operations in September two years ago,” Mr. Kim cited.
He noted that the expansion is part of a broader initiative to optimize available terminal space and transform underutilized areas into facilities and amenities that better serve passengers throughout the day.
“Our goal is to make Terminal 3 more useful and comfortable for more passengers,” he enthused as he highlighted that NNIC is reworking available spaces so they can better serve travelers.
“The latest additions follow earlier improvements in the terminal’s landside area, where more than 40 new restaurants and retail concepts have opened after former office spaces and other non-passenger areas were converted into commercial and passenger-focused facilities,” he added.
The enhancements in the terminal come as NAIA continues to earn recognition among international travelers. In March 2026, UK-based Airport Parking and Hotels ranked NAIA seventh globally for layover food options and sixth for affordable airport lounge access among the world’s 50 busiest airports.
