MANILA — A group calling itself Nullsec Philippines has claimed responsibility for allegedly defacing the website of the Senate of the Philippines.
Through a Facebook post, the group announced that it had accessed and altered the Senate’s official online platform, marking the action as a form of protest.
In its statement, Nullsec addressed lawmakers directly, reminding them that public trust comes with the obligation to serve citizens faithfully and avoid misuse of authority.
The group also highlighted the broader impact of corruption, arguing that misused public funds affect essential services such as education and basic needs, ultimately harming ordinary families.
It concluded by stressing that government accountability and transparency should always be upheld, insisting that public office should never serve as protection from public examination or criticism.
