MANILA — Senator Mark Villar emphasized the vital role of young Filipinos in nation-building as he recognized graduating students across the country through the Mark Villar Leadership Awards.
The senator honored students who demonstrated exemplary leadership, responsibility, and service within their respective school communities.
This year’s awardees came from several public high schools, including Baybay City Senior High School, Camarines Sur National High School, Iloilo National High School, Leyte National High School, Masbate National Comprehensive High School, Negros Occidental High School, New Ormoc City National High School, and Ormoc City Senior High School.
Villar reiterated his commitment to empowering the youth and expanding opportunities for the next generation, ensuring that deserving students—regardless of background—are properly recognized and supported.
He also acknowledged the perseverance of graduates and completers nationwide, citing their resilience in overcoming challenges and their continued pursuit of education.
Villar extended his congratulations to the awardees, graduates, completers, as well as their families and mentors.
