MANILA — Most parts of the country will continue to experience generally fair weather on Wednesday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
Weather specialist Chenel Dominguez said conditions will remain mostly clear, although the public should brace for rising temperatures and humidity, especially around midday.
Despite the generally stable weather, isolated rain showers may still develop due to localized thunderstorms.
Forecast data show that Tuguegarao could reach a high of 35°C, while Zamboanga and Davao may experience temperatures of up to 34°C.
Meanwhile, the heat index — or the “feels-like” temperature — could climb to a dangerous 45°C in Virac, Catanduanes. In Metro Manila, the heat index is expected to range between 34°C and 35°C.
PAGASA also reported that no weather disturbances are currently being monitored within or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate sea conditions are expected to continue across the archipelago.
