MANILA – Residents of Luzon should expect cloudy skies and occasional light rain as the northeast monsoon, or “amihan,” continues to affect the region, PAGASA said on Wednesday.
The agency’s early morning advisory reported that no low-pressure system is currently forming that could develop into a tropical cyclone.
Cloudy weather with light rainfall is forecast for northern provinces like Cagayan, Batanes, and Isabela. Metro Manila, Central Luzon, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
Elsewhere in the country, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with possible isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are expected due to local weather disturbances.
