MANILA — Two cashiers of LOBO Super Club in Malate, Manila, were arrested on October 25, 2026, over an alleged theft involving ₱1,150, according to a police incident report.
The suspects, identified as Beltran Mansaya, 29, a cashier, and Jenny Amaliza, 29, a senior cashier, were arrested inside the establishment at No. 1917 Adriatico Street, Barangay 699, Malate.
The incident was reported to the Remedios Police Community Precinct (PCP) at around 6:30 a.m. The suspects were subsequently brought to the investigation office at around 10 a.m. and underwent partial investigation, which concluded at approximately 10:30 a.m.
According to the initial investigation, LOBO Super Club manager Caselyn Bernal noticed Mansaya proceeding to the locker room while on duty, prompting her to instruct head marshal Erwin Reymundo to review the establishment’s closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage.
The footage allegedly showed Mansaya carrying a small, unidentified red object before opening her personal locker and taking two ₱100 bills. She then returned to the cashier area and handed the money to Amaliza, who allegedly placed it inside the cashier box.
Amaliza subsequently took several ₱50 bills and a ₱100 bill from the cashier box, counted the money amounting to ₱1,150, and handed it to Mansaya, who allegedly returned to her locker and stored the cash inside.
After being informed of the incident, Bernal questioned both employees and directed Reymundo and assistant head marshal Baby Rose Ignacio to accompany Mansaya to her locker.
Mansaya subsequently turned over 17 ₱50 bills and three ₱100 bills, totaling ₱1,150, according to the report.
The two suspects were arrested by the establishment’s personnel, who informed them of their constitutional rights and the alleged offense. Remedios PCP personnel Pat Jones Manadao and Pat Dhelvher Ramirez assisted in the incident.
The suspects were brought to a hospital for medical examination before being transferred to the Station Investigation and Detective Management Section (SIDMS) for further investigation.
A complaint for alleged violation of Article 310 of the Revised Penal Code, or Qualified Theft, was being prepared for filing before the Manila City Prosecutor’s Office for inquest proceedings, the report said.
The allegations remain subject to investigation and the appropriate legal proceedings.
