
MANILA — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has appointed a new batch of officials to the National Youth Commission, Malacañang confirmed.
Carl Vincent Quitoriano was designated as the new executive director of the commission, taking over the post previously held by Leah Villalon.
Also appointed was Gervy James Gumarit as Commissioner-at-Large, replacing Karl Josef Legazpi.
Meanwhile, Juanquine Carlo Castro was named commissioner representing the Visayas, succeeding Christine Joy Escober-Cari.
Records showed that the appointment papers of the new NYC officials were signed on April 20, 2026.
The newly appointed officials are expected to serve three-year terms in office.
