MANILA — A female vlogger has had her driver’s license revoked by the Land Transportation Office (LTO) after a traffic violation that went viral online, along with a two-year suspension from applying for renewal.
According to the LTO, the vlogger, identified as Ishi Lee, did not appear in the agency’s hearing and failed to submit a formal explanation after being called out for reckless and distracted driving. The incident involved her recording herself while behind the wheel.
The agency also said she continued to drive even after being prohibited. In an order released on April 20, 2026, the LTO cited several violations, including reckless driving, driving without a valid license, violation of anti-distracted driving rules, and being considered unfit to operate a vehicle.
Because of these infractions, her license was revoked and she was disqualified from renewal for two years.
The LTO added that her vehicle will remain under impound until all penalties are complied with and fines are paid. Authorities were likewise directed to arrest her if she is seen driving again.
LTO Chief Markus Lacanilao emphasized that strict enforcement of traffic laws will continue, stressing that repeated violations will not be tolerated as part of efforts to protect public safety.
