MANILA — Fuel prices are poised for a substantial rollback on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, bringing welcome savings to motorists, particularly with diesel expected to post the biggest drop.
According to Shell Pilipinas Corp., diesel prices will be reduced by P24.94 per liter. Gasoline prices will fall by P3.41 per liter, while kerosene will decline by P2.00 per liter.
The new prices will take effect at 6 a.m.
The Department of Energy had earlier indicated that another round of price cuts was likely this week.
The expected rollback has been linked to improving conditions in the Middle East, where easing tensions and a sustained ceasefire have reduced the added costs previously reflected in global oil prices.
Over the weekend, Ferdinand Marcos Jr. urged oil firms to enforce the price cuts promptly and in full, highlighting the projected decreases across diesel, gasoline, and kerosene.
