Two men were arrested in a drug raid in Ermita, Manila, on April 13, 2026. The suspects, Garry Ulanday y Candinato, 36, and Manuel De los Reyes III y De Guzman, 26, were caught with 1.3 grams of shabu, a methamphetamine, along Cortada St. near UN Avenue.
The arrest was made by PCpl Paul Louis S Padre Juan and his team from the SDEU, Ermita Police Station 5, under the supervision of PCPT Ruel Y Bertulfo and leadership of PLTCOL June Paolo O Abrazado.
The suspects, both vendors, are members of the Bahala Na Gang (BNG).
They were charged with violating Sections 5 and 11 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 (RA 9165).
The confiscated shabu has an estimated value of Php 8,840. The suspects will undergo physical and medical examination and face inquest proceedings at the Manila City Hall.
The operation is part of ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the city.
