MANILA – The De La Salle University Lady Spikers aim to preserve their perfect record in UAAP Season 88 as they take on Far Eastern University on Wednesday at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
La Salle, riding high after a dominant win over the University of the Philippines last March 29, secured the first semifinal slot with a 10-0 slate. The Lady Spikers now set their sights on FEU, which sits in fourth place with six wins and four losses.
Coach Ramil de Jesus highlighted the team’s focus on discipline and development, stressing the need to bring out each player’s talent through hard work. Standouts such as Shan Nunag, Amie Provido, Shevana Laput, and Angel Canino continue to anchor La Salle’s campaign.
Elsewhere, UP faces Ateneo at 1 p.m., while in the men’s division, FEU (9-1) battles La Salle (5-5) at 11 a.m. after the Ateneo–UP match. National University (9-2) and UST (7-4) remain close contenders in the standings.
