MANILA – The country will continue to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with generally fair weather, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported Tuesday.
According to PAGASA weather specialist Veronica Torres, isolated rain showers remain possible due to localized thunderstorms.
She said this weather pattern is likely to continue over the next few days.
Temperatures are expected to peak at 35°C in Tuguegarao, while Metro Manila, Zamboanga, and Davao may reach up to 34°C.
The heat index could climb to 42°C in Dumangas, Iloilo, and San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, while Metro Manila may experience values between 38°C and 39°C.
Torres also confirmed that no low-pressure areas or tropical cyclones are currently being monitored inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
Winds will remain light to moderate, with sea conditions ranging from slight to moderate across the country.
