MANILA — Vlogger Norman Mangusin, popularly known as Francis Leo Marcos, was arrested Monday in Parañaque City over three counts of cyberlibel.
The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) arrested Mangusin at about 5:40 p.m. at a resort and casino along New Seaside Drive in Barangay Tambo.
His arrest stemmed from a warrant issued by the Parañaque Regional Trial Court Branch 294 for three counts of libel in relation to Republic Act No. 10175, or the Cybercrime Prevention Act.
The court set bail at P90,000.
The complaints were reportedly filed by Joana Lopez, the wife of vlogger Mark Jayson Warnakulahewa.
Mangusin’s latest arrest comes months after he was taken into custody in February 2026 over 12 counts of unjust vexation also filed in connection with the Cybercrime Prevention Act.
The cyberlibel case adds to the legal troubles faced by the vlogger, who has maintained a substantial following online.
Authorities have yet to provide further details on the specific statements or online posts that prompted the latest complaints.
