In a world dominated by geopolitical friction and headlines of conflict, Dr. Jose Rizal (via AI Avatar) steps forward to remind us of a historical reality: The Philippines and China have had no wars.
For over a thousand years, our relationship was built on the quiet, steady rhythm of trade, mutual benefit, and shared humanity. From the sails of ancient Chinese junks to the modern era, our ties are deeper than politics—they are written in our DNA.
Did you know that Jose Rizal himself was of Chinese descent? His great-great-grandfather, Domingo Lam-co, migrated from Zhangzhou in the 17th century. Today, an estimated 22 to 27 million Filipinos share this exact same heritage.
Let us look back at this long history of kinship and focus our energies on shaping a future of bold optimism, community, and mutual respect.
