MANILA – Jubilant Philippine sambo fighter Aislinn Agnes Yap proudly waves the Philippine flag after defeating Faizollanova of Kazakhstan on points in the Women’s 80-kilogram Combat Sambo ADT final of the 2026 Asia and Oceania Sambo Championship at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium, Rizal Memorial Sports Complex. The victory earned Yap the gold medal and brought honor to the Philippines.
