MANILA — Former National University standout Alyssa Solomon banners the list of 42 players vying for selection in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League Rookie Draft on June 3 in Quezon City.
Fresh from her campaign with Osaka Marvelous in Japan, Solomon is expected to be among the top picks after showcasing her scoring ability overseas. The towering opposite spiker collected 147 total points across 30 games in the SV.League.
A strong group of UAAP talents also joined the draft pool, led by multi-awarded players Camilla Lamina, Bernadett Pepito, and Niña Ytang.
Several collegiate standouts from UST, UP, FEU, De La Salle, UE, Adamson, and Ateneo have also submitted their applications, adding depth to this year’s rookie class.
Among the overseas-based aspirants is Filipino-American Jade Fuentes, who previously played for La Salle before continuing her career in the United States.
The NCAA will also be represented by players from Letran, San Sebastian College, Jose Rizal University, Lyceum of the Philippines University, Mapua, San Beda University, and University of Perpetual Help.
Provincial and regional standouts, including players from Cebu and Bicol schools, complete the draft roster.
Ahead of the rookie selection, all applicants are required to attend the PVL Draft Combine scheduled from May 28 to 29 in Mandaluyong City.
Capital1 currently holds the best odds to secure the No. 1 overall pick after obtaining a 40-percent probability in the draft lottery, followed by Galeries Tower, ZUS Coffee, and Choco Mucho.
