MANILA – A generally sunny Wednesday is in store for most of the country, though Filipinos should still watch out for possible afternoon and evening thunderstorms.
According to PAGASA weather specialist Loriedin Galicia, there are currently no low-pressure areas being monitored, and no storms are expected to develop in the coming days.
Temperatures will remain high, with Tuguegarao likely reaching 36°C and Metro Manila climbing to 35°C.
The heat, however, may feel more intense. The heat index could hit 43°C in Sangley Point, Cavite, while Metro Manila may experience levels between 38°C and 39°C.
Authorities advise the public to stay hydrated and minimize time under direct sunlight.
Across the country, winds will be light to moderate, with sea conditions remaining manageable.
