MANILA — Fuel consumers may see another reduction in pump prices next week, as projections point to a continued downward trend in petroleum costs from April 27 to May 3, 2026.
Based on early market indicators, diesel prices could fall by ₱10 to ₱12 per liter, while gasoline may see a smaller decrease ranging from ₱0.50 to ₱1.50 per liter. The expected rollback follows a recent substantial price cut and reflects easing tensions in the Middle East.
Analysts attribute the trend to improved geopolitical conditions, including a ceasefire in the region, along with weaker global demand linked to economic slowdown concerns. Industry updates, including posts from Jetti Petroleum, suggest these factors are influencing global oil trading.
The official price adjustment is scheduled to be announced on Monday, April 27, with new pump prices taking effect the following day, April 28. This comes after a steep diesel rollback of ₱24.94 per liter earlier in the month.
The final figures will be confirmed once the Department of Energy releases its official advisory.
