MANILA – The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said easterlies will continue to bring warm and humid conditions across the country.
Weather specialist Veronica Torres noted that while skies may remain mostly fair, isolated rain showers and thunderstorms could develop in some areas.
At present, PAGASA is not tracking any weather disturbances within or beyond the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
Temperatures could reach up to 36°C in Tuguegarao, while Metro Manila, Davao, and Zamboanga may see highs of around 34°C.
The heat index may hit a high of 43°C in Sangley Point, Cavite, while Metro Manila could experience levels between 38°C and 39°C.
Moderate winds and seas are expected in the eastern sections of Southern Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao, with lighter to moderate conditions prevailing elsewhere.
