A 70-year-old businesswoman was arrested at NAIA Terminal 3 in Pasay City on Monday, March 16, 2026, over an outstanding warrant for estafa. Nemesia Aguilar y Alcantara, a resident of Makati City, was taken into custody by operatives of the Sta. Mesa Police Station’s Warrant Section led by PEMS Neil G. Abrasia.
Aguilar was served a warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Lyn L. Llamasares-Gonzales, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court of Bulacan, Branch 120, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, for the case of estafa in Criminal Case No. 4063-M-2023. The bail for her case is set at ₱20,000.
According to police reports, Aguilar was apprised of her rights and the charges against her, and the arrest was documented using a body-worn camera and an iPhone 13 Pro Max. The warrant will be returned to the court of origin for further proceedings.
The arrest was carried out by the Sta. Mesa Police Station, led by PEMS Neil G. Abrasia, with PMSg Jasper Jay Mapa as the drafter and warrant server, under the review of PLT Virgilio Enano, Duty OD.
